A look back at 2008

     In looking back over 2008 I can say, creatively speaking, I made many new works.
     My studio, which had had a small fire in June, got a major overhaul and that did slow things a bit. However, I participated in the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen Fall Fair for the first time.
     What a treat to be able to do this fair! As a member of the guild for many year it was a real pleasure to go to Berea. My Christmas studio open house brought in some new faces and back old friends. This year I decided to have an after hours night bonfire. I hope to make this an annual event because it was so much fun for everyone.
      One thing I'm often ask is when I'm open. The answer is when do you want to shop? I'm here most days and am very happy to show you my works. I can be reach by cell (2703399769) just so you don't come on the day I've had to go to the store or elsewhere.

      I have been included for this spring in the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana, "Inspired Women In Art," juried show sponsored by the Women's Hospital of Evansville. Well, have a peaceful and blessed year... Diana, the potter
